MB Design offered a supportive and professional service to us from the time that they were first approached for a quote to the time that our new prospectuses were safely delivered to us.
Service was always efficient and personal. No query was ever too small to be promptly answered. The patience with which members of staff dealt with redrafts was very much appreciated.
MB Design gave constant support throughout the process of redesigning our new prospectus, offering experienced advice as to organising key groups to demonstrate what we are good at and crucially reflecting this in the finished product.
They took the time to get to know us and so were able to recognise what was important to us and therefore highlight it in our finished product. They were able to provide us with bespoke literature and we had as much artistic control as we wanted.
The high quality of materials used means that we have excellent value for money and a prospectus that will look good for years to come. The range of finishes that were offered allowed us to pinpoint the exact look that we were looking for that best suited the ethos of our school community, especially in our very important Centenary Year.

MB Design read our minds at Coppice Performing Arts School! They worked intensely with staff and students to understand our desire for a 21st century look and feel to match our multi million pound rebuild project. Nothing was too much trouble for MB Design throughout the whole process and the school never felt pressed or rushed to make a decision. The students were empowered to play a key part throughout the design process and as a result they are delighted with the final result.

The prospectus looks modern, bright, professional and is exactly what we needed. I have had innumerable positive comments from staff, parents and pupils. In fact, I have received no negative feedback at all.
On meeting with Melaine I was able to outline the image makeover the school required in relation to our perception in the community, this meeting together with a phone call quickly led her to be able to help me create a vision for the look, feel and text/images required.
Melaine showed me a variety of other school’s work from which we could coalesce an image that fitted our particular institution. She also showed me some particularly effective images which helped me know what to demand/expect/orchestrate when our photos were taken.
The photographer from MB Design was excellent. He worked extremely hard to achieve the shots and absolutely understood the brief.
Despite not meeting Laura she was able to follow the design brief from Melaine perfectly. The new prospectus has led many people unfamiliar with our inner city state school, to assume we are a grammar school! The deadlines we asked for were met impeccably and we were able to use the prospectus to launch our new academic year to Year 6.
Coupled with the prospectus work MB Design persuaded me to facilitate a bus advertisement campaign across the county. This gave us a heightened profile we have never had before.
There was, of course, the odd glitch, a disc went missing but was subsequently found. Personally, I liked the genuine people at the company who did make mistakes but admitted them and moved on without taking their eye of the overall final product. A second meeting with myself, Melaine and the head clarified any misgivings we had and led to a final prospectus that I am proud to have led on within the school.
Overall, the process was enlightening, Melaine can quickly assess what is needed and clearly communicate that to her team, the evidence is our wonderful new prospectus that shows our school in the way we would like our local community to see us. Our parent Governors have been particularly impressed that at last we are “selling” the school.
